Venus,
Lift the veil
Mysterious and sensual. Elegant and bold. Raw and voluptuous.
Discover Venus, a collection full of light that you won’t want to leave.
Hide-and-seek
In a mix of sensual shapes and organic imprints, the pieces of this collection reflect the duality of our desires: sometimes hidden, sometimes laid bare. Between audacity and vulnerability, these jewels are made to reveal you.
Reveal yourself
For this first part of the collection, Louise drew her inspiration from ancient statues. Their clothes, though set in marble, seem to float in the air.
To recreate the transparency between skin and fabric, sculptors used the Panneggio Bagnato technique. This consisted in coating the model's clothes with a mixture of chalk and water to work on movement and transparency.
Jewelry reminiscent of a wet, pleated fabric that hugs the skin perfectly. They hide and reveal all at once.
Under the veil
The imprint is revealed when the veil is gone. An exaltation of a moment in life, it bears witness to our memories, our emotions and our flaws. That is the essence of Venus: the search for beauty in irregularity and imperfection.
The eternal Muse
Venus, goddess of love and feminine beauty, has inspired artists all over the world: Antioch's Venus de Milo, Botticelli's Birth of Venus, or Eva Green's torrid interpretation in the film Innocents… She is deeply rooted in the collective imagination.
A precise gesture
This collection is meticulous in its draping, but it is also irregular, more raw and instinctive. To transfer her motifs onto the jewels, Louise drew inspiration from several artistic techniques, such as printmaking.
Once the jewels have been shaped and sculpted by Louise, our craftsmen meticulously reproduce them identically. Mock-up, molding, polishing, welding, gilding... Each step is made by hand to preserve the authenticity.
