“Nice to meet you, Lison.”
Half asleep, half awake, let your imagination play you. Eyes closed, images take you somewhere else, some place magical and unknown, where you don’t know what reality is anymore.
An ode to reverie, to love, to creativity.
Like an Exquisite Corpse game, the symbols randomly follow each other to create colorful and captivating jewelry that reminds us of the aesthetics of surrealism.
The Lison capsule collection consists of nine exquisite and poetic creations. Little gilded symbols mixed with semi-precious colorful stones, which shine bright when hit by the light.
The Lison necklace
Made by hand, it is the irregularity of those symbols that gives them this authentic look.
On a warm summer afternoon, Louise, then pregnant with Lison, her second daughter, sat down at the table in her garden. With only her imagination to guide her, she sculpted one by one the symbols that make up this collection: a mouth, a flower, a heart, a rose, an eye, a moon.
This collection brings her back to her first love for sculpture, which she studied in New York: it is her taste for handiwork that led her to make her own jewelry.
The Lison pendant earrings
Just like a child's mobile, the symbols and the stones seem to float in the air.
Petal after petal, this rose was meticulously sculpted by hand by Louise.
“Imaginary is what tends to become real”
Surrealism promotes the free expression of thoughts, creativity and desires in a pure and instinctive way. It represents the abolition of the distinction between dream and reality and encourages society to let itself be invaded by its unconscious desires…
The Lison bracelets
Joyful, poetic, intriguing : big crush on these bracelets.
The Lison earrings
Elegant yet not too classic, stones and symbols dance together with your every move.
A meticulous handcrafting
Each little symbol modeled by Louise was reproduced identically by our atelier through individual molds, then gilded with 24-carat fine gold. Each piece of jewelry was then assembled by hand: a clever asymmetrical mix of semi-precious stones and gold symbols. A meticulous work which requires patience and precision!
Robert Desnos, 1936
A jewel is a family story…
Louise always imagines jewelry as a story to be shared and passed on: it can be worn by children as well as their mothers.
