Meeting the materials
Two noble materials make up the Marilyn hoop earrings. Made of tin gilded with 24k gold, a golden interlace encloses a faceted silver and palladium plated insert. A unique combination for a signature anniversary jewel.

Behind the scenes
First an idea: to mix gold and silver to create a unique piece. Then sketches, to design a silver and palladium plated insert, faceted like a precious stone and next, making models to find the best way to combine these two materials.
After several attempts, our artisans faced a new challenge: to create the perfect insert that would fit the closed setting of the earring. Fortunately, the story has a happy ending as a mold of this insert is born. With great care, our craftsmen dipped the creole in a gold bath and the small insert in a palladium bath, before delicately assembling them to bring the Marilyn hoop earrings to life.
