Free like Jane
Jane, a collection full of freedom, outside the established codes. A spontaneous feminity, delicate and wild, with androgynous accents, which explores all contrasts.
The jewels in the collection
The medal
Oversized dimensions and a raw finish that won't go unnoticed. On the back, let your imagination run wild and engrave a memory, a date, initials...
After all, why fit into a box when you can define your own style?
01.
An ogive shape where lies art
Patterns inspired by ribbed vaults, shaped on the jewel in relief or bas-relief. The work of stone applied to metal, for combinations full of contrasts between raw material and delicate ornament.
JANE Small hoop earrings
02.
A hammered design between strength and brilliance
A set of reliefs and abrupt curves shaped by instinctive hammering, which gives the pieces of the Jane collection a unique and original design.
JANE Bangle bracelet
Jane, the eternal rebel
Feminine and boyish with a slightly unbothered look, Jane inspires and makes naturalness her signature. Timeless looks and combinations of pieces that don’t go together at first glance, but look somehow fantastic. Jane Birkin's style is the freedom to wear whatever you like, whenever you like. Actress, muse and activist, she embodies the emancipated woman of the sixties.
Back to the sixties
The daring 60s shook up women's daily lives. Dressing against the flow became a symbol of independence. Comfortable in her iconic flare jeans and white t-shirt, Jane goes against stereotypes and paved the way for the liberation of women's bodies. With her style as light as it is sultry, she handles eccentricity with precision and makes the headlines. Even today, she proves that there is no standard except the one we set for ourselves.
The manufacture
Playing with conventions and techniques for an original design.
At first, with a mallet, Louise works the surface of the metal. Under her free and spontaneous gestures, asperities and curves began to take shape. A grinder and a file finished to bring definition to this new texture, creating a unique hammered effect. Bringing together the complementary worlds known as feminine and masculine, Jane's jewelry blends raw materials and delicate patterns in a design that emphasizes contrasts.
"I was not looking for regularities in the shapes. I wanted to give free rein to my movements, to see how far it would take me. To have fun with textures, to imagine unexpected patterns that come and go to create new combinations."
